Ensyc Technologies UHF RFID Verifier/Encoder
This powerful new product turns any standard thermal printer into an RFID printer/encoder.
When used with an RFID thermal printer, it can act as a verifier to confirm proper operation of the RFID tag after the label has been printed. Also, since it uses a custom far field antenna, it can be used to spot damaged RFID tags that may have coupled properly with the printers near field antenna.
When used with a standard thermal printer and our custom application, it can be used to encode UHF RFID tags, embedded in the labels, as they are printed.
It connects to your PC via a standard USB cable which provides both power and communications. It has an optional battery pack for remote operations. Simply disconnect the USB cable and the verifier automatically switches to data collection mode. In this mode, the user manually triggers a read event and the data read is stored in the module. When the unit is reconnected to the USB cable, the user can download the captured reads.
Several custom applications are included with the Verifier including a full demo app, a Human Interface Device (HID – Keyboard wedge), a Department of Defense (DOD) app and a label print and encode app. Remote management (web based) applications are also available.
